The 3rd Man
Once there was a student, who promised to his fiancee their marriage on a certain day. On that day, his fiancee married someone else.
The student affected by this blow, and fell ill. At this time, a monk passed by him. He took out a mirror and called the student to see. He saw the sea with a woman lying naked on the beach. One man passed by who just glanced at her, shook his head and went away. Another man passed by who took off his clothes, covered the woman’s body and left. And then the third man passed by. He dug a hole and carefully buried her body.
The Monk explained that the woman on the beach was your fiancee’s past life. You were the second man who passed by and gave her the clothes. She fell in love with you in this life just for paying back the love debt.
But the person to whom she eventually has to pay the whole life, was the last man who buried her. That man is now her husband.
